Brain Stroke :
Brain Stroke can be understood as a blood clot that has travelled into the blood vessels that supply blood to the brain tissue. This results in the lack of blood supply to a part of the brain tissue. This is the most common of the two types of stroke called as the ischemic stroke. Another type is haemorrhagic stroke where the blood vessel ruptures and opens up leading to high pressure damaging the brain tissue.
There are certain warning signs that everyone should make a note of to get timely help in stroke cases. The first and foremost sign is the drooping of one side of the face. The tissue around the eye corners and the mouth corners droops downward. One arm feels weak and there is an inability to hold or lift anything. There is significant slurring of words and difficulty to speak. As soon as one recognizes these symptoms, it is pertinent to call for an ambulance to ensure favourable outcomes.
