Bed Wetting :
Bed wetting is known as nocturnal enuresis. Bed wetting will be described as the involuntary passage of urine at night during sleep, mainly seen in children. It will be observed between the ages of 4 and 6 years. There will be two main types of nocturnal enuresis: primary nocturnal enuresis and secondary nocturnal enuresis. The cause of bed wetting is not known, but there are some reasons that might be a hormone imbalance, urinary tract infection, small bladder, or constipation. The diagnosis of the cause of bed wetting will be based on the physical examination, X-rays, and urine tests, and should detect any abnormality in the functioning of the kidneys. The bed wetting problem will subside on its own. If bed wetting persists even after the age of 12 years, one should consult a doctor for the management of the underlying cause that is leading to bed wetting. The preventive measures used to avoid bed wetting will be passing urine before going to bed, passing urine and clearing the urinary bladder regularly, and avoiding drinking liquids and fluids in the evening.
