Uterus Cancer :
Uterine cancer or uterus cancer is the cancer that affects the uterus. The symptoms that are observed in uterus cancer can be vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain, spotting of blood after menopause, white discharge from vagina. The diagnostic tests done to detect uterine cancer are physical examination, CT scan, transvaginal ultrasound, MRI scan, hysteroscopy, biopsy, dilation and curetage (D&C). The treatment options to treat uterus cancer are surgical removal of uterus, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and palliative care. The risk factors which increase the risk of uterine cancer are no pregnancy, menstruation for long areas, elderly age, obesity, hormone therapy for breast cancer, hormonal imbalance, and inherited syndromes. To prevent the risk of uterus cancer, have to be careful with hormone therapy post menopause, having healthy body weight, using of oral contraceptive pills.
