Watery Eyes :
Watery eyes are known as epiphora, in which there is the production of tears and the blockage of the drainage of those tears, causing watery eyes. When the watering is observed only in one eye, it is called unilateral epiphora, and when both eyes are watering, it is known as bilateral epiphora. Along with watery eyes, it will also affect the area around the eyes, causing itching, cloudy vision, eye pain, sinus headaches, and red eye. The watery eyes will be caused due to many reasons like blockage of tear ducts, dry eyes, allergies, blepharitis, and styes. The symptoms that are observed in watery eyes will be rolling of tears on the face, tears filled up in the eyes even though not crying or laughing, and too watery and wet eyes. The diagnosis for watery eyes will be based on the eye examination, which is done by an ophthalmologist, and diagnostic tests will include a CT scan and X-rays. Watery eyes will be managed with medications, clearance of blocked tear ducts with flushing of saline, and repair of eyelids and eyes.
