Shoulder Dislocation :
Shoulder dislocation is an injury in which the ball and socket joint connection is separated between the shoulder bones. There will be damage to the tissues around the shoulder, like nerves, muscles, ligaments, blood vessels, and tendons. The two types of dislocated shoulders will be subluxation (partial dislocation) and luxation (complete dislocation). The symptoms that will be observed in shoulder dislocation will be weakness, severe pain, swelling, difficulty in moving the arm, muscle cramps, tingling and numbness, the shoulder is out of its position, and bruising. The diagnosis of shoulder dislocation will be based on the X-rays, CT scan, MRI scan, and ultrasound scan. The treatment advised for shoulder dislocation will be done by immobilization after the closed reduction using a splint or sling, adequate rest, medications to relieve pain, physiotherapy, and surgery is suggested in rare cases where closed reduction will not be effective.
