Morning sickness :
Morning sickness is a common sign experienced during pregnancy and is identified by vomiting and nausea. Morning sickness begins in the first three months of pregnancy, and improves gradually by the second trimester or by the beginning of 14 weeks. The significant signs of morning sickness in pregnant women include nausea, vomiting, sea sickness or motion sickness, heartburn or reflux, something is stuck in their throat or hunger pangs and loss of appetite. The causative factors of morning sickness include blood pressure fluctuations, low blood sugars, changes in metabolism, and an increase in pregnancy hormones like estrogen or human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). The severity of this condition in pregnant women increases by being overtired, eating or smelling certain foods, stress, anxiety, warm weather and motion sickness. Morning sickness in pregnant women is managed by various methods like making lifestyle modifications, taking certain medications like antihistamines and antiemetics, and making diet changes.
