Hypoglycemia :
Hypoglycaemia is commonly known as low blood sugar.There are several reasons for hypoglycaemia.Some of the common reasons for hypoglycaemia are underlying disease like diabetes Mellitus , stress, starvation ,certain medications , excessive alcohol ,insulin over production,and hormonal deficiencies.Hypoglycemia is dangerous if neglected or untreated.Some common symptoms of hypoglycaemia are :sweating, fatigue, irregular heart beat, irritability, slurred speech, confusion,blurring of vision and seizures. Generally hypoglycemia occurs in patients with diabetes mellitus but it may also occur in few conditions after lunch like gastric bypass.Treatment of hypoglycemia usually indicates administration of 25 dextrose solution and oral administration of sugar under the tongue.
