GB Syndrome :
GB syndrome can be referred to as Guillain-Barre syndrome. It will be a rare autoimmune condition that can affect the immune system by attacking the peripheral nerves. Guillain-Barre syndrome will be caused by post-infection and immune-mediated neuropathy. The symptoms observed in Guillain-Barre syndrome include muscle weakness, deep muscular pain, tingling sensation, weakening of chest muscles, speaking difficulties, swallowing difficulties, paralysis of legs, vision issues, paralysis of facial muscles, and difficulty in moving eyes. The diagnosis of Guillain-Barre syndrome will be based on the physical examination, electromyography (EMG), neurological examinations, spinal tap or lumbar puncture, and MRI scan. The management advised for Guillain-Barre syndrome will be through plasma exchange, called plasmapheresis, IV fluids, intravenous infusion of immunoglobulin therapy, respiratory care, and rehabilitation with occupational therapy, preventing blood clots, speech therapy, physical therapy, and mobility aids such as canes, braces, or walkers can be suggested.
