Eye cancer :
The cancer affecting the parts of the eye is known as eye cancer. There will be many types of eye cancers, which include intraocular melanomas, retinoblastoma, orbital cancer, eyelid cancer, and intraocular lymphoma. The symptoms that are observed in eye cancer will be vision loss, irritation of the eye, blurred vision, flashes of light, a lump on the eyeball and eyelid, a dark spot in the iris, the eyeball's position will be changed, and a swollen eye. Eye cancer will be detected through eye examination, ultrasound of the eye, ophthalmoscope, slip lamp examination, and angiography. When the eye cancer becomes severe, there are some tests to be done, like chest X-ray, PET scan, MRI scan, CT scan, and biopsy. The treatment for eye cancer will be through radiation therapy, such as external beam radiation therapy and brachytherapy. There are other surgical treatments, which include enucleation, iridocyclectomy, iridectomy, transscleral resection, and orbital exenteration. There are also chemotherapy, immunotherapy, laser therapy, and targeted therapy that will be done.
