Allergic Rhinitis :
Allergic rhinitis is an allergic condition that causes continuous sneezing, itching of the nose, congestion, and watering of the eyes. The triggering factors that lead to allergic rhinitis include mould spores, pollen from plants, dust mites, pet dander, saliva and droppings of cockroaches. When there are symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as itching of the nose, throat, and eyes, stuffiness in the nose, watery and red eyes, mucus in the throat and nose, a running nose, tiredness, coughing, wheezing, and breathing difficulties. The allergic rhinitis will be diagnosed through allergy tests, such as the skin prick test and the intradermal test. The treatment advised for allergic rhinitis will be antihistamines, nasal sprays, decongestants, and immunotherapy. Allergic rhinitis will be prevented by avoiding the irritants that are causing it, such as putting pets out of the bedrooms, putting new and washed pillow covers, avoiding frequent touching of the face and rubbing the nose and eyes, wearing goggles to avoid dust, changing clothes after coming from outside, and washing hands often.
