A laparoscopic gynecologist is a specialized surgeon who deals with gynecological surgeries through laparoscopic procedures. A laparoscopic gynaecologist is qualified with graduation in MBBS, followed by post graduation, MD in obstetrics and gynecology, and fellowship in laparoscopic gynecology. The conditions that are treated by a laparoscopic gynecologist are the removal of ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy, tubal ligation, oophorectomy, and pelvic adhesions.
