Asthma :
Asthma is the chronic inflammatory condition of all airways through thickening and inflammation that presents itself as narrowing and obstructs airflow within the lungs and leads to shortness of breath. Some common asthma triggers include allergens like pollen, dust, and pet dander ,respiratory infections, physical activity, cold air,or emotional stress. Some common symptoms include the sound that the breath makes as it is wheezing or whistling, tightness in the chest, and a cough, often typically occurring at night and early in the morning. Asthma can range from mild to severe in persons. Some have relatively minor symptoms of the condition while others have severe attacks that occur with what might be considered a frequency of relatively high recurrence and may become fatal if not managed. Patients receiving this treatment generally present as medication in an inhaler, bronchodilators offer a temporary relief during the time of an asthma attack, but corticosteroids manage the inflammation on the long term. Asthma management is accompanied by the avoidance of triggers, drugs, and constant monitoring of lung function to be able to maintain perfect quality of life.
