Uterine Fibroids :
It is an abnormal growth of cells in a large amount in the uterus and leads to tumors but not cancerous. This is mainly seen in 30 to 40 old; there is no specific cause, but it may linked to some hormonal changes and genetic history. A fibroid's size, location, and shape may vary from small to large. Menstrual pain, constipation, heavy bleeding, and Painful intercourse. Uterine fibroids can be detected by routine pelvic examination, and image modalities like MRI, ultrasound exam, Hysteroscopy, and laparoscopy are used to detect uterine fibroids. It can be treated medically with GnRH antagonist as it stops the increase of fibroids. The intrauterine device also helps. Surgically, the most used is hysterectomy (removal of the uterus), while others like radiofrequency ablation. Usually, if symptoms do not show, they may not need any treatment. Complications like heavy bleeding, Twist in fibroids, and UTI (urinary tract infection should not be overlooked. If a pregnant female has fibroids, that may lead to small complications during delivery, depending on the position of the fibroids, it may lead to a C-section during birth.
