Paediatric Physiotherapist :
Paediatric physiotherapists are medical doctors who specialize in treating kids who are slow in achieving milestones like sitting, crawling, and walking, babies who are clumsy and use unusual patterns to move, children having difficulty in motor skills like jumping, children having arthritis, myositis and chronic pain and children with rumination. To become a paediatric physiotherapist, one must complete four years of medical school, one year of internship, and three years postgraduation in paediatrics, followed by a fellowship. They also treat conditions like Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, muscular dystrophies, brain injuries, and respiratory conditions like cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis. They also monitor the progression and adjust the treatment accordingly.
