Retinal Detachment

Retinal detachment is a critical condition which can lead to vision loss and blindness. It occurs as a result of distortion of retinal layer at the back of the eye from its original place. It causes reduced supply of oxygen and essential nutrients to the affected eye.

Retinal detachment is characterized by appearance of sudden floaters, flashes of lights or darkness in vision field. It causes blurred vision making it difficult to see any object clearly.
