Pulmonary valve stenosis :
The pulmonary valve disorder is essentially heart valve disease in which the pulmonary valve becomes narrowed. It is a valve and is actually that one responsible for guiding blood coming from the right ventricle to the lungs. Being narrowed it makes the pumping of blood through the heart difficult. Thus it builds pressure on the right side of the heart. It is often congenital though it can present at any stage. Indeed if it presents a little later it is usually as a complication of other infections like rheumatic fever. Echocardiography confirms the diagnosis. It would disturb those patients who have minor stenosis but with major stenosis might require some special procedure such as balloon valvuloplasty or even valve replacement which would help in controlling the flow of blood.
