Multiple Myeloma :

Multiple myeloma also called as plasma cell myeloma is a cancerous condition of one type of white blood cells in the body called plasma cells. Plasma cells are important to fight against infection causing organisms by producing antibodies. These cells are produced in the bone marrow, during this condition there is uncontrolled production of plasma cells. These plasma cells instead of producing antibodies they produced a protein which does not have designed work.

Symptoms of multiple myeloma include bone pain, pain and numbness in the jaw, headache, anemia, infections, oral issues, nausea, vomiting, constipation, weight loss, etc. The exact cause of this condition is not known, studies suggest that chronic exposure to hydrocarbon compounds and Epstein Barr virus are having a role in causation of multiple myeloma.
