Liposuction :

Liposuction simply called as lipo is a type of plastic surgery procedure which involves the removal of fat from specific areas of the body such as thighs, buttocks, arms, neck and stomach. Liposuction is normally carried out under general anesthesia. This procedure involves powerful high pressure vacuum through an instrument called as cannula. It is crucial to understand that liposuction is not a weight loss surgery but a cosmetic procedure. This procedure is not a treatment for obesity, cellulite, or stretch marks , it typically removes or lowers the number of fat cells to change and enhance the contour of your body.

Liposuction is preferably performed on abdomen, hips, thighs, neck, calves, ankles, chest, back, chin, upper arms and buttocks.
