Hoarseness :

Hoarseness is a rough, strained and harsh voice that may be associated with pain and discomfort in the throat due to vocal cord irritation or injury. It can an acute hoarseness which occurs suddenly that usually resolves within a few days or may become persistent and cause chronic hoarseness lasting for more than 2 weeks.
