Visited for: Giant Liver Cyst.
Exceptional Care and Skill from Dr. Sandip Chakrabarti. My mother was recently diagnosed with a large cyst on the right lobe of her liver. The diagnosis was complex, as some radiologists were unsure whether it was a normal cyst or a hydatid cyst due to the presence of mild septa. Dr. Sandip Chakrabarti handled this uncertainty with exceptional skill and prudence. He thoroughly discussed the situation with us, explaining that while he suspected it was a normal cyst, he would approach the surgery with the utmost caution-treating it as a hydatid cyst until proven otherwise. This cautious approach was crucial, as hydatid cysts require a more intricate surgical procedure. Before the operation, Dr. Chakrabarti demonstrated his meticulous preparation by consulting with another radiologist and reviewing all necessary CT scans and reports to ensure the safest possible outcome for my mother. On the day of the surgery, he was remarkably efficient, completing the successful operation in just two hours. We were incredibly relieved that the cyst was confirmed to be benign (a normal cyst). We extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Sandip Chakrabarti and his entire surgical team for their expertise, care, and the successful result. We would also like to specifically thank Dr. Anirban Dutta, the anesthetist, who provided outstanding care and attention to my mother’s pre-existing health conditions (comorbidities) throughout the process. We highly recommend Dr. Chakrabarti for his professionalism and excellent patient care. Also like to show my gratitude to the entire team EEDF : from ot coordinator to nursing staffs to Rmo to cleaning staffs, even the person i dont remember his name m who have escorted my mother in wheel chair from hospital bed to the car.
