Dr. Amal Kumar Khan, Cardiologist

Dr Amal Kumar Khan is one of the most experienced cardiologists in Kolkata, having more than 30 years of experience as a specialist. He has treated thousands of patients who are having problems like arrhythmia, cardiomyopathy, heart failure, carotid artery disease, hypertension and rheumatic heart disease treatment. Dr. Amal has expertise in performing procedures such as bypass surgery, balloon angioplasty, pacemaker installation, mitral valve replacement surgery and cerebral palsy treatment.

He earned his MBBS from the University of Calcutta in 1977. Two years later, he completed a diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene at the same college. Then, in 1981, Dr. Amal completed his MD in Medicine. Many years later, he returned to the University of Calcutta and earned a DM in Cardiology in 1992. In 2008, he did a fellowship from the Cardiological Society of India. He is registered with the West Bengal Medical Council.

Dr Amal Khan has previously worked at reputed organizations such as North City Hospital, Belle Vue Clinic, Columbia Asia Hospital and Ruby General Hospital. He currently consults at Techno India DAMA at Beleghata, Kolkata. He is available on Tuesdays from 1 PM to 2 PM.
