A paediatric gastroenterologist is a specialist who deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that affect the digestive system in children. A paediatric gastroenterologist deals with managing diseases that affect the organs like the stomach, liver, intestines, pancreas, and bile ducts in infants to adolescents. A paediatric gastroenterologist is qualified with a graduation in MBBS, followed by post-graduation in MD, and further specialised with DM in paediatric gastroenterology.
