Pancreatic Cancer :
The pancreas is an organ in the abdomen that generates some digestive enzymes and the hormone that controls blood sugar levels. If the cells in this organ mutate and begin to multiply uncontrollably, it is called pancreatic cancer. When this cancer develops, it usually does not cause any symptoms in the early stages. Furthermore, the pancreas cannot be felt during a physical exam, and it is challenging to detect tumours in routine imaging tests. Symptoms only develop when the cancer starts affecting other organs. Individuals with pancreatic cancer may experience dark urine, jaundice, tiredness, itchy skin, nausea, and lack of appetite. Doctors usually order a combination of blood and imaging tests to diagnose pancreatic cancer. Curing cancer requires complete removal of the tumour, but this is not always possible. Depending on the location and size of the tumour, a doctor may recommend chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or other approaches.
