Nose Block :
Nose Block is also known as nasal congestion and occurs due to irritation to the tissues lining the inside of the nose. Nose block causes trouble while breathing through the nose, mucus flows from the nose, called a runny nose, mouth breathing, and trouble nursing or taking a bottle in babies. Nasal congestion also causes other signs, like sneezing, coughing, and headache. The common causes of nose block are allergic rhinitis and nonallergic rhinitis. Allergic rhinitis is caused by pollen, dust mites, mold, and pet dander. Nonallergic rhinitis is triggered due to environmental causes like stress, exposure to smoke and paint fumes or spicy food, certain medications like those for high blood pressure or pain, hormonal changes like going through puberty, sinus infection, common cold, and enlarged adenoids.
