Morning sickness :
Morning sickness is a condition that occurs during pregnancy that involves nausea and vomiting. Most of the pregnant women experience morning sickness during the first trimester of pregnancy. Morning sickness can occur at any time during the day. It can start in the sixth week of pregnancy and some may have before 9 weeks of pregnancy. In some cases, morning sickness will be stopped in second trimester but in some cases, morning sickness continues all through the pregnancy. The symptoms of morning sickness can be motion sickness, heartburn, hunger cravings, feel of stuck in the throat. The causes of morning sickness can be higher levels of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) or estrogen, metabolic changes, fluctuations in blood pressure, and worsening with overtiredness, anxiety, hot weather, the smell of certain foods, stress, etc. There are a few remedies to control morning sickness, such as eating crackers in the morning, avoiding spicy foods, eating many small meals, drinking a lot of water and fluids, consuming protein rich snacks, etc.
