Low Blood Pressure :
Low blood pressure is called hypotension. Hypotension is a condition or symptom in which the blood pressure is lower than normal. There are two kinds of hypotension, or low blood pressure, such as absolute hypotension and orthostatic hypotension. Normal blood pressure is 120/80 mmHg, when the blood pressure is lower than this, it is 90/60 mmHg. The causes of hypotension are central nervous system, orthostatic hypotension, low blood volume, heart conditions, lung conditions, arrhythmias, heart attacks, pulmonary embolism, alcohol, extreme temperatures, and pregnancy. The symptoms that are seen in hypotension or low blood pressure are nausea, vomiting, dizziness, blurred vision, fatigue, confusion, and fainting. Hypotension is diagnosed by monitoring low blood pressure, and the underlying cause of the disease should be diagnosed, to make the treatment plan. Treatment for low blood pressure or hypotension is done with medications, IV fluids, and surgery.
