Dry Hair :
Dry hair is a general shortage of moisture and oil in the hair, causing it to be brittle and dull. Exposure to low humidity or harsh weather, excessive heat styling, chemical treatments, such as dyeing or perming, and a lack of proper care are causes for dry hair. Health problems, hormonal imbalances, and a poor diet that lacks necessary nutrients can exacerbate the condition. Other symptoms of dry hair include a very rough and stiff texture, frizz, split ends, and trouble with styling. Also the hair may gain a tendency to lose shine and break easily. Dry hair treatment requires appropriate hair care measures. To begin with, there is adoption of moisturizing shampoos and conditioners and regular deep conditioning treatment. Heat-styling tools must be restricted. An allowance with a sound vitamin and mineral diet will help stabilize hair health. Environment and chemical treatments must be greatly reduced so as to retain moisture and shine.
