Medical Oncologist :
A medical oncologist is actually a cancer specialist with proper expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases through non-surgical means, which includes chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy. To become a medical oncologist, one has to do the MBBS degree and then, subsequently, the MD in Internal Medicine which is three years of study. Thereafter, there's further specialization through a super-specialty course called DM in Medical Oncology which again takes three years of study. The primary goal of a medical oncologist is complete effectiveness of the treatment of cancer in patients while offering customized care to the patient at every stage of his or her treatment.
