A rheumatologist is qualified with a graduation in MBBS, followed by post-graduation, MD in general medicine. Further, they will be specialised in DM in rheumatology or a clinical rheumatology fellowship. A rheumatologist will provide treatment for many conditions that affect the immune system, like arthritis and other types of arthritis, such as psoriatic arthritis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, autoimmune conditions, including scleroderma, lupus, vasculitis, Sjogren's syndrome, and inflammatory conditions, such as inflammation of joints, bones, muscles, tendonitis, osteoporosis, and fibromyalgia.
