Premenstrual syndrome :
Premenstrual syndrome is abbreviated as PMS, is common in women. It is a cumulative condition of physical and emotional/behavioral signs and symptoms like mood swings, cramps, food cravings, changes in libido, anger, irritability, fatigue, isolation and depression, weight fluctuations, headaches, breast tenderness, acne flare-ups, joint pains and changes in bowel movements. These signs and symptoms typically occur prior to the commencement of the menstrual cycle and can take a toll on the individual's mental, physical and emotional well being. Timely management and relaxation techniques are required to manage the condition.
