Knock Knees :
Knock knee will be called as Genu valgum. It will be explained as the angular deformities seen in the knee joints. The underlying causes of knock knees will be infection, growth plate injury in the past, obesity, skeletal dysplasia, and vitamin D deficiency. The symptoms that are observed in knock knees include both knees touching each other and ankles being far apart while standing, inward curvature of legs, and walking difficulty, which is seen in severe cases along with pain. The diagnosis of knock knees will be based on the X-rays, physical examination, and there will be a few blood tests to be done to diagnose any kidney failure or rickets disease. The treatment advised for the knock knees will be by bracing that will help in alignment of the bones, physiotherapy, stretching, and strengthening exercises to improve the muscle balance and support to the knees, management of the underlying diseases, and surgery is suggested in severe cases in order to correct the alignment of the bones.
