Angina :
Angina is described as chest pain that occurs when the heart is not receiving enough oxygen rich blood. Angina is categorized into several types, such as stable angina, unstable angina, Prinzmetal angina, and microvascular angina. The causative factors of angina include medical conditions such as coronary microvascular disease, coronary artery spasm and coronary artery disease. The risk factors associated with angina include chronic stress, anemia, diabetes, high cholesterol, trans fat, a diet high in saturated fat, exposure to particulate air pollution, drinking too much alcohol, heart failure, a family history of early heart disease, high blood pressure, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The treatment methods to deal with angina are taking angina specific medication, anticoagulants to reduce the risk of blood clots, blood pressure medications, cholesterol drugs, surgeries like coronary artery bypass grafting and percutaneous coronary intervention and making lifestyle changes.
