Phimosis :
Phimosis is a condition where the foreskin of the penis can't be retracted. It is commonly seen in children aged 2 to 6 years and can happen up to 10 years. Symptoms include discoloration, swelling, irritation, pain while peeing, erection and sexual intercourse, build up of thick fluid, soreness, and blood in pee. It is caused by eczema, psoriasis, lichen planus, lichen sclerosis, penile adhesions and injuries, poor hygiene, repeated urinary tract infections, and foreskin trauma, rough handling of foreskin and foreskin trauma. Types of phimosis are physiologic phimosis, mostly seen in children and resolves as they get older, and pathologic phimosis, which occurs due to infection, inflammation, and lichen sclerosis.
