Hair fall :
Hair fall or hair loss is very common concern affecting both women and men globally. Hair fall can result from various factors including hormonal changes, genetics, medical conditions, stress, nutritional deficiencies, and environmental factors. A shedding that ranges between 50 to 100 strands per day is considered normal, while excessive shedding thinning can indicate underlying issues. There are different types of hair loss or baldness patterns namely androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium, alopecia areata and others.
Medical history, a through physical examination and sometimes test such as biopsies and blood test are also performed by the medical experts to identify the type of hair loss. Treatment mainly depends on the severity of the hair loss including life style modifications, medications, hormone therapy, hair transplant and surgery is required. Early intervention and proper management can often slow down or reverse hair loss enhancing over all hair density and quality.
