autism :
Autism is called an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). It is a condition in which there is a difference in brain development, leading to poor person perception, social interactions, and communication are affected. Some signs of autism seen in children are no eye contact, no response to their name, playing alone, inability to understand body language, not understanding social rules, and knowing others' perspectives. Also child repeats movements and words, attachment to unusual objects, doesn't like changes in routine, doesn't like certain textures of foods, cannot move to one task to other. Genetic testing is done to check the gene variations and it is diagnosed by pediatricians with assessments like Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS). The treatment for autism will be managing the aspects with multiple therapies such as behavioral therapy, speech therapy, family therapy, and occupational therapy.
