Dimple Correction :
Dimple correction, also known as dimpleplasty, is a cosmetic surgery performed in artificial means to enhance the dimples on the cheeks. Dimple correction surgery is performed by a plastic surgeon and it involves various steps like numbing the area, marking the dimple, followed by making an incision inside the cheek. A small area of muscle is later removed and sutures are placed. The advantages of dimple correction procedure include : giving a look cuter than before, increased self esteem, dimples appear naturally over the cheeks to improve the overall appearance. After the surgery is completed, the post operative care is to be taken strictly and involves staying hydrated, avoiding smoking and alcohol consumption, protecting the region which underwent the surgery and protecting from the sun. The side effects that may arise after dimple correction surgery include scarring, bleeding, damage to the nerves and infection.
