Blepharitis :

Inflammation of the eyelids is also known as Blepharitis. In this condtion, the eyelids become itchy and cause irritation. They take on a flaky appearance and sometimes cause the eyelids to stick together, especially after waking up in the morning.

The common symptoms of blepharitis include red and swollen eyelids, watery eyes, stinging sensation while closing the eyes, frequent blinking, etc.Blepharitis may be more evident when a person suffers from seborrhic dermatitis, rosacea, eye allergies, presenc of eyelash mites or lice, etc.
