Anal Fissures :

Anal fissure is the small tear in the lining of the anal canal. The most common causes of the anal fissure are passage of hard stools , constipation , staining , severe diarrhoea,etc. The Symptoms of the anal fissure are sharp pain while passing the stools, might be associated with severe burning pain, passage of blood. The Acute fissures usually subside with in 4 to 6 weeks and few may lead to chroinic status. The complication can be developing a stricture. To prevent anal fissure one needs to be well hydrated, consume foods that are high in fibre and to do regular excercise.
