Vesicovaginal fistula doctors in Hyderabad explain that VVF is the presence of an abnormal connection between the bladder and the vagina, and an RVF or rectovaginal fistula is the presence of an abnormal opening and connection between the rectum and the vaginal canal.
Vesicovaginal fistula can be caused by trauma from obstructed labor or prolonged labor, previous bladder or vaginal surgeries, gynecological cancers, exposure to radiation therapy, and in rare cases recurrent and severe urinary tract cancers.
