Shoulder Dislocation :
Shoulder dislocation can be referred to as an injury in which the ball and socket joint connection is separated between the shoulder bones. There will be damage to the tissues around the shoulder, including nerves, muscles, ligaments, blood vessels, and tendons. The two types of dislocated shoulders will be subluxation (partial dislocation) and luxation (complete dislocation). The symptoms that can be seen in shoulder dislocation will be weakness, severe pain, swelling, muscle cramps, difficulty in moving the arm, the shoulder being out of its position, bruising, and numbness. The diagnosis of shoulder dislocation will be based on the MRI scan, X-rays, ultrasound scan, and CT scan. The treatment for shoulder dislocation will be done by immobilization after the closed reduction with a splint or sling, adequate rest, medications to relieve pain, physiotherapy, and surgery will be done in rare cases where closed reduction will not be effective.
