Red eye :
Red eye is an eye condition in which the eye turns irritated, red, and bloodshot. Red eye also presents symptoms like eye pain, swollen eyes, eye discharge, changes in vision, such as blurred vision, and eye itching. The factors responsible for causing red eye include dry eye, allergies, blepharitis, glaucoma, eye injury, and pink eye. Red eye gets better by lightly massaging the eyelids, taking adequate rest, applying cool compresses over closed eyes, using over-the-counter eye drops, and gently washing the eyelids. To prevent this red eye, the measures to be taken include not rubbing the eyes, avoiding things that we know irritate our eyes like dust and pet dander, keeping the contact lenses clean and not wearing them longer than recommended, removing the eye makeup properly, keeping the eyes clean, and taking regular breaks while looking at the computer screen for a long time.
