Ovarian Cancer :
The cancer which is formed in the ovaries and fallopian tubes present in the uterus is referred to as ovarian cancer. The symptoms that can be observed in the case of ovarian cancer will be lower abdominal pain, loss of appetite, bloating of the abdomen, loss of weight, abnormal bleeding, lower back pain, fatigue, frequent urination, diarrhea, constipation, and an increase in abdominal size. There are various types of ovarian cancers, like germ cell tumors, stromal tumors, and epithelial cell ovarian cancer. The factors that can influence and cause cancer include obesity, age over 60 years, not becoming pregnant in life, endometriosis, inherited gene mutation, and family history of ovarian cancer. The diagnostic methods used to diagnose ovarian cancer will include the ovarian cancer screening test, examination of the pelvis, ultrasound examination of the pelvis, CT scan, PET scan, MRI scan, and blood tests. Following that, the surgical evaluation of ovarian cancer can be made. The treatment for ovarian cancer will be by complete surgical removal of the uterus, and will be treated with hormone therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and radiation therapy.
