Otosclerosis :

Otosclerosis is derived from a greek word i.e Oto - ear and sclerosis - hardening. Thus Otosclerosis is defined as the abnormal remodeling of the bone in the middle ear. The exact cause of the condition is not known, but both genetic and environmental factors have an impact on it.
