Oily hair can be referred to as greasy hair. Oily hair will mainly occur due to excess production of natural oil by the sebaceous glands known as sebum. The other reasons of oily hair will be hormonal imbalances, unhealthy food habits, using hair styling creams and straightening of hair, touching the hair frequently, excessive washing or over washing of scalp and hair, humidity in the climate can lead to the production of oil. The medical condition which can lead to oily hair will be seborrheic dermatitis. Oily hair can caused the greasy hair and does not have a fresh look.
