Lasik :
LASIK can be referred to as Laser assisted in situ keratomileusis surgery which will be performed to as an alternative for eye glasses and contact lens. LASIK surgery will be done for the correction of the vision problems like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. During the procedure of LASIK surgery, surgeon will remove the flap on the eye to reshape the cornea by folding the flap back. With the programmed laser, the cornea will be reshaped, and a little corneal tissue will be removed. There are certain side effects associated with LASIK surgery, such as double vision, halos or glares, dry eyes, astigmatism, overcorrections, undercorrections, flap problems, corneal ectasia, regression, and vision loss. LASIK surgery will not be indicated in the case of a family history of keratoconus, severe nearsightedness, eye diseases causing the cornea to bulge, large pupils and thin corneas, or age-related eye changes. LASIK surgery will be done to improve vision, and refractive errors will be corrected.
