Hemophilia :

Hemophilia is a bleeding disorder that affects the clotting of blood due to a lack of clotting factors. Clotting factors in the blood work with the blood platelets for the formation of a blood clot after a cut or injury on the body. There are three main types of hemophilia: hemophilia A, hemophilia B, and hemophilia C. The symptoms that can be noticed in hemophilia will be abnormal loss of blood after vaccinations, excessive bleeding after an injury or cut in the body, pain and swelling of joints, unexplained loss of blood after a surgery or a dental extraction of a tooth, bleeding from the nose, loss of blood in urine, and bloody stools. Hemophilia can be diagnosed depending on the symptoms and blood tests, such as complete blood count and clotting factor tests. The first line of treatment for hemophilia involves replacement of clotting factors from the donated blood. The therapies that can be used for the treatment of hemophilia will include fibrin sealants, medications, and preventive measures to avoid cuts over the body.
