Fertility Treatment :
Fertility treatments are done in women who are unable to get pregnant even after having sexual intercourse for a long time. It can be treated by using fertility drugs like Clomid, clomifene, tamoxifen, gonadotrophins, and follicle-stimulating hormone, by using assisted reproduction therapies(ART) like intra-uterine insemination, where sperm is placed inside the cervix, invitro fertilization, where the retrieved eggs and sperm are placed in a culture fluid dish, leads to fertilization and then transfers to the uterus and intra cytoplasmic sperm injection, where sperm is injected directly into the egg leading to the formation of embryo which is then transferred to uterus, by using assisted hatching, is a process where outer layer of an embryo is opened to get attached easily to the uterine lining and by using third party ART like donor embryos, donor eggs or donor embryos and surrogacy. Surgeries if there is any blockage in the vas deferens in men or opening of the blocked fallopian tubes in women are also used as fertility treatments.
