Breast Reduction :
Breast reduction can be referred to as mammoplasty. It is a surgical procedure which is done to reduce the size of the breast. In the case of breast reduction surgery, removal of excess fat, skin, and tissue is performed to achieve the correct breast size. Breast surgery can be advised when there is pain in the neck, back, rashes on the skin, skin irritation, trouble fitting into inner wear and clothing, low self esteem due to larger breasts, and shoulder pain. This procedure will be performed under general anaesthesia, and an incision will be made around the nipple and from there, the excess skin and fat will be removed through the keyhole shaped opening. Post that, drainage tubes will be inserted in the opening and then drain the excess tissues and fat. The incision will be sutured, and a dressing will be made with bandages. The complications that are seen after a breast reduction surgery include fever, enlargement of breasts with pressure, unusual discharge, detachment of any sutures, and pain.
