- Was awarded Gold Medal For the best paper in the Surgical treatment of Spinal aliments as ISSICON at Delhi in March 2006.
- First orthopaedic surgeon in the state and amongst handful of few spinal surgeons in the country who are awarded the international fellowship of the Scoliosis research society (SRS) in 2007 and Active fellowship of the society in 2013.
- Received 'Vaidya shiromini Award ' from Prof Kakarla subba Rao on 30-6-2013 instituted by Megacity Navakala vedika- Hyderabad.
