Dr TLVD Prasad Babu is a highly qualified Surgical Gastroenterologist with more than 24 years of experience. He currently works at Yashoda Hospitals in Secunderabad as the head of the surgical gastroenterology department. He has a lot of experience in performing colorectal, bariatric, hepato pancreatic biliary and advanced laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Prasad has worked in many different cities across the country. 

Dr Prasad Babu Yashoda earned his MBBS in 1996 from Kurnool Medical College. He registered with the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council in 1997. A few years later, he enrolled at Osmania Medical College, where he earned his MS in General Surgery in 2001. He finally earned his MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology in 2006 from SGPGIMS in Lucknow. Throughout his career, Dr. Prasad has participated in a number of workshops and published several research papers related to gastroenterology. 

Since earning his super-specialisation qualification, he helped hundreds of patients by performing procedures such as splenectomy, splenic repair, oesophageal surgery and sentinel lymph node procedures for skin malignancies. But that’s not all.
